Transitioning Beyond

It was a year ago this month that my dear mother transitioned out of her body, moving beyond an earthly life to an expanded life of higher consciousness and love. During her time in the hospital, I was able offer her a healing. Aware of the journey before her, I held space and witnessed love, compassion and healing come forth. Beautiful imagery accompanied the healing, providing a sense of nurturing care and unconditional love.

A year ago, on this very day, we gathered for her Celebration of Life memorial service. I spoke to the congregation filled with family and friends and shared the essence of the healing. It was my belief that others may also find comfort and healing through the imagery; and as such, I now share them with you. In times of Grand Transitions, may you find peace, love and support along the way.

A Healing

Two Angels came forth, in white,

Standing twice that of human size.

Wings identifying service of love and care.

Gently, they stood on either side.

In grace and radiance of loving comfort,

Ribbons of light in gold and pink wove between.

Pink light of compassion, comfort, and care.

Gold light of divine, Unconditional Love.

From head to toe, ribbons surround and encompass,

Forming a cocoon around our dear one.

Gently she is rocked in the arms of an angel.

Receiving healing, love, comfort,

Nurturing, compassion and grace.

And when that time was complete,

Ribbons transformed and our dear one

Stood tall on her journey.

The pink light of compassion

Draped around as a soft velvet cape.

Gold light of Love formed a crown halo upon her head.

Standing before her, a welcoming

Of golden light, love and family.

Our dear one did not walk this journey alone,

For under her feet she was cradled.

Two golden hands providing

Love and support along the way.

And as the radiant, kind, loving soul,

We all know her to be,

Our dear one was

Guided by the Hands of God

To begin Anew.
